Mercs Inc Confirmed

A leaked trailer was released yesterday, supposing to be a new Mercenaries game going under the name of Mercs Inc. You can take a look at the trailer below.

Since then EA has confirmed that there is a new Mercenaries game in development and it will indeed be called Mercs Inc.

No other details about the game have since then been released, but stay tuned.

"Mercs Inc will be the first Pandemic game to be developed by the studio at its new home in Playa Vista [read: EA Los Angeles]," reads the press release, which notes that this will be the first "Pandemic game" released after next month's Saboteur.

"We are very excited to announce a new instalment in the popular Mercenaries series because it demonstrates our continued commitment to Pandemic's rich catalogue of intellectual properties," said EA's group GM.

"From the studio at EALA, a core creative team is forging new ground and conceptualizing new ideas for this exciting franchise."
